- Visit Chateau de Rieux, an wine estate and a chateau in the middle of Rieux-Minervois. The village has a church that is unique . Built 1150-1175, it has 7 sides, giving it a circular structure .
- You’re never far from wine in the Minervois pass some time in one of the many wine domaines. Santé.
- Three times a year during the winter season, a truffle market takes place in the village of Villeneuve-Minervois: in December, January and February.

- Villeneuve-Minervois has a fascinating fully restored working windmill (Le Moulin a Vent). Learn about its history and take a tour. A visit to the adjacent shop is a real treat. They sell local produce, including wine grown in the adjoining vineyards, tasting is included as part of the tour.
